First Aid Quick Reference
Severe Bleeding
- Apply direct pressure with clean cloth
- Don't remove cloth — add more layers
- Elevate wound above heart
- Tourniquet only as last resort for limbs
CPR (Adult)
- Check responsiveness, call for help
- Heel of hand on center of chest
- 30 compressions, 2" deep, 100–120/min
- 2 rescue breaths, repeat until help arrives
